Employee Engagement Coordinator

Job Description


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Employee Engagement Coordinator (EEC) is a junior position which is responsible for executing processes to directly support associates & software engineers, improve processes, and provide insights based on the data collected. Key processes executed by the EEC are our employee outreach calls (e.g. to check in and support) and resolving employee queries. Therefore, serving as the knowledgeable, polite, and helpful ‘voice’ of Revature for our employees is a critical responsibility.


The EEC will receive requests from all members of the Employee Engagement team in a dynamic environment where new processes are continually being built or revised. Therefore, they must have strong skills in the areas of task prioritization, critical thinking, and communication along with a ‘customer centric’ mindset.


RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Conduct outreach calls with all software engineers (SEs) including:
  • Selection call to congratulate an SE
  • Check in calls to ensure SEs are doing well
  • Promotion calls to congratulate an SE and gather feedback
  • Resolve queries/complaints from SEs including:
  • Questions about Revature policies and processes
  • Questions related to an SE’s client project
  • Document complex new processes involving multiple departments (e.g. SE query follow up process) in order to make improvements
  • Plan, execute, track, and report on processes to engage our employees (e.g. outreach to Revature alumni)
  • Develop reports based on business requirements from Management
  • Prioritize business goals working with departments to find ways to improve opportunities

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A bachelor’s degree, in any major, is required
  • Degrees in business, psychology, or communications are preferred
  • Typically requires at least 2 years of experience in a customer service/employee service role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong task prioritization skills and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to create strong individual relationships with employees
  • Computer software skills with programs Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel are required
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred, or agility to train on the job
  • Ability to collocate will the management team all days of the week
